Education is key to empowerment. Proper education creates a lasting impact on any society’s advancement. KEATS USA aims to support activities to make quality education accessible to the under-served sections of the community.

Our aim is to make quality education accessible to the under-served sections of the community by providing infrastructure to schools and giving scholarships/ maintenance charges to the needy to continue their studies. KEATS shall make need-based contribution towards infrastructural development in govt. schools … like classroom furniture, books for library, study material, sports kits, etc.

Poverty forces many students to discontinue their education. With their limited qualifications they are deprived of good employment opportunities. KEATS intends to provide scholarships to meritorious students who lack finances for pursuing higher education.

Empowerment is a process that helps people gain control of their own lives that contributes to a healthier society. We plan on implementing several empowerment programs in USA and India.

We train unemployed youth in a variety of skills like plumbing, welding, electrical wiring, tailoring, etc. Great emphasis is also laid on developing their entrepreneurial spirit by strengthening confidence as well as motivation levels and improving communication skills.

Women empowerment is another key focus area. We organize various skill building programs at the community level for women. Programs include artisan training to rural women, supporting them in establishing cottage industries, and providing market linkages to the products etc.

Environment plays a critical role in the healthy living of human beings. It is the responsibility of every human being to preserve the environment and leave a better world for the next generations.

We are working towards better health and sanitation conditions in the deserving communities. Reverse osmosis (RO) plants shall be installed to provide clean drinking water units in fluoride effected areas. Building bio toilets in villages will be on top of our agenda.

Awareness programs to the villagers on various issues of health and hygiene by conducting health/eye camps are envisaged. Plantation of saplings and organic farming methods will be encouraged.
